Higher Heights Outreach was founded 9 years ago by Dr. Gwen Hughes was saddened by persons struggling to obtaining food, going to sleep hungry, in need of clothing and basic hygiene.
Dr. Hughes formed Higher Heights Outreach as a vehicle to help those in need. She was previously employed with the U.S. Department of Commerce and a former insurance auditor for one of America’s largest insurers and has a Masters degree in land development and B.A. degree in business from Pepperdine University, Malibu, California and an Honorary Doctorate from Stephens Bible College.
Higher Heights Outreach is a 508 (c) religious non-profit faith-based charitable tax-exempt entity under IRS law.

Higher Heights Outreach has helped the community by aquiring proerty, location the city of Los Angeles, California, and providing reduced rental housing to qualified low income /disabled persons from 2013 to 2018.
